Black on Black Mata Ortiz hand coiled potter by Miguel Bugarini. Fine pottery such as this is distinguish by its beauty and balance. This traditional designed pot is of prime quality with delicately hand coiled walls and hand stone polished to a high shine. The piecc of art with its painted desgns completely surrounding the walls. It stands 24" tall and has a diameter of 14-1/2. Signed on the bottom Miguel Bugarini.

This is a hand-formed Mata Ortiz pot. The pot is incised on the bottom "Miguel Bugarini" and measures 24" height x 14 1/2" diameter. The pot is painted with a black on black design. Miguel uses the stem of a yuuca plant or paint brush to paint the traditional geometric designs.
